ReVogue is a mobile app I designed to promote sustainable fashion by helping users manage their wardrobes, donate unused clothing, and learn about ethical fashion practices. The mission of this individual project was to create an everyday-use app that prioritizes sustainability and ethical design while offering users a personalized and educational experience. By combining wardrobe management, donation features, and fashion education, ReVogue aims to empower users to make greener fashion choices and express their unique style.
The primary challenge was to design an app that:
The research phase involved a combination of desk and field research to understand the market, target audience, and sustainability trends in fashion.
I analyzed user reviews and feedback on existing fashion apps to identify pain points and successful features.
Using this method, I defined the app’s key aspects, ensuring sustainability was at the core of the design.
Through research, I identified the target audience as students and fashion enthusiasts interested in second-hand shopping and sustainable practices.
Based on my research findings, I prioritized the app’s main features:

My UX strategy focused on creating a seamless and enjoyable experience while promoting sustainability. Key elements included:
I created user flows and wireframes to visualize the app’s structure and functionality.

The ideation phase involved brainstorming features and functionalities that would address user needs and promote sustainability. Key features I introduced included:
I sketched initial ideas and transformed them into low-fidelity wireframes, which I tested and refined based on user feedback.

I conducted multiple rounds of testing to validate my designs:
Users were given tasks to complete, such as donating an item or browsing the listings' feed. Feedback was used to refine the app’s functionality and user experience.
This method helped me ensure the app’s design communicated the brand’s values of sustainability and fashion.
Testing revealed challenges in structuring the app’s functionality and balancing accessibility with a fashionable design. I iterated on the design to address these issues.

This individual project was a rewarding experience that allowed me to combine my passion for design with sustainability. By creating an app that promotes sustainable fashion practices, I helped empower users to make greener choices while expressing their unique style. The process reinforced the importance of research, iteration, and user-centered design in creating impactful digital products.
This case study showcases my ability to tackle complex design challenges, explore new methodologies, and deliver solutions that align with both user needs and brand values. It’s a testament to my growth as a UX designer and my commitment to creating meaningful and sustainable digital experiences.
